Westfund Injury Update: Round 12
Ahead of the Round 12 match against the Knights at Carrington Park, the Panthers have provided the following injury updates:
Isaiah Papali'i and Mavrik Geyer are set to miss 2-3 weeks due to MCL knee injuries.
They are expected to exit their knee braces this week and begin running.
Luke Garner will not play this week following a concussion he sustained during training.
He is currently progressing through the return-to-play protocol and is anticipated to return for Round 13.
Soni Luke is recovering from a biceps rupture and shoulder cleanout surgery, with a planned return later in the regular season.
AJ Kepaoa and Jaxson Edgar are nearing the end of their rehabilitation from hamstring injuries.
Both players are back running and taking part in skills sessions, with their return expected in the upcoming weeks.
- John Fonua has recently joined the rehab group due to a hamstring injury incurred during training.
His recovery is underway, with a return timeline yet to be confirmed.
