The Penrith Panthers have revealed that their new stadium, set to open in 2027, will be named Helloworld Stadium.
This announcement follows the partnership with Helloworld Travel, which has secured the naming rights for the venue currently under construction.
As Australia's leading retail travel company, Helloworld boasts a network of 2000 independent travel agents and brokers nationwide.
The partnership is established for five years, marking Helloworld Travel's debut in naming rights for a sports facility.
Local MP Karen McKeown expressed enthusiasm for the groundbreaking stadium.
"The new Helloworld Stadium is an exciting step forward for Penrith and reflects the Government's commitment to delivering world-class infrastructure for Western Sydney. This redevelopment will create a modern, family-friendly venue that brings fans closer to the action while supporting the continued growth of sport, entertainment, and major events in the region," she stated.
With a capacity for 25,000 fans, the stadium can accommodate up to 30,000 attendees for concerts.
This initiative is part of a broader effort to transform the Penrith region, coinciding with the launch of the Western Sydney International Airport in the same year.
"We're thrilled to partner with Venues NSW on this exciting new chapter in Penrith and look forward to seeing Helloworld Stadium become a place that will create lifelong memories for friends and families," said Andrew Burnes, Chief and Managing Director of Helloworld Travel. The new venue will feature enhanced hospitality options, more restroom facilities, modern corporate amenities, and state-of-the-art digital sound systems.
