NRL fans and players are celebrating Paul Momirovski's career following his announcement of immediate retirement on Wednesday.
The 28-year-old played for several teams, including the Wests Tigers, Melbourne Storm, Penrith Panthers, and Sydney Roosters, before concluding his career with Leeds Rhinos in England and FC Lézignan in France.
Momirovski expressed his gratitude on social media, stating: "That's a wrap.
After years of chasing this dream, it's time to hang it up.
Grateful for every team that took a chance on me, every teammate I've had, and all the lessons this game taught me.
Thanks for the memories." He was a key player in the Panthers' premiership-winning team in 2021, participating in 16 games and scoring six tries, including playing centre in the grand final against South Sydney, which they won 14-12.
He also contributed to the Melbourne Storm's success in 2020 after a loan from the Tigers, scoring four tries in six games during their championship run.
Momirovski began his career at the Roosters in 2018, moved to the Tigers in 2019, and had various stints at Melbourne and Penrith before returning to the Roosters in 2022.
His UK career included playing for Leeds Rhinos in the Super League in 2024, and he wrapped up his professional journey in France with a short stint featuring just three games.
Following his retirement announcement, former teammates and fans took to social media to pay tribute to the versatile player.
