Panthers fans were given a stern talking to after crashing Nedd Brockmann's record attempt following their team's victory at Accor Stadium.
The cult hero Nedd Brockmann is currently embarking on his latest crazy venture - attempting to break the world record for the fastest 1000 miles (or 1610km) on foot at the Sydney Olympic Park 400m track.
In order to achieve this feat, Brockmann needs to run a staggering 403 laps of the 400m track each day for 10 days straight.
As fate would have it, the track is conveniently located next door to Accor Stadium, where the NRL grand final took place.
Some enthusiastic fans, still buzzing from the Panthers' 14-6 win, decided to show their support by heading over to cheer on Brockmann.
However, their loud antics did not sit well with Brockmann's team, who quickly stepped in to address the rowdy behavior.
Despite the disruption, Brockmann remained focused and determined as he tackled day four of his record-breaking attempt.
"Footy fans can be a rowdy bunch, but today they crossed the line by heckling Nedd Brockmann during his epic challenge," reported News Corp sports journalist Brendan Bradford on X.
Let's hope Brockmann can keep his eye on the prize and push through the distractions to make history in the world of long-distance running.
