The Penrith Panthers have bolstered their roster ahead of the 2026 NRL season by signing another player from the New Zealand Warriors, continuing their trend of acquiring talent from the club.
The latest addition is Patrick, the nephew of former Parramatta Eels forward and New Zealand international Fuifui Moimoi. Throughout the year, Patrick primarily played in the Under-21s Jersey Flegg Cup but also made two appearances in reserve-grade matches during Round 24 and Round 26 against the Panthers and Knights.
In addition to his five NSW Cup matches in 2023, he recorded notable stats in limited playtime, achieving two tackle busts, nine passes, 15 tackles, and 57 running metres in under 40 minutes of action, as he was utilized both as a replacement player and from the interchange bench.
At just 21 years old, Patrick's transfer to Penrith comes as he finds himself lower in the Warriors' lineup, still behind players like Sio Kali, who has yet to make his first-grade debut.
