Former Queensland Maroons State of Origin star, Jarrod Wallace, is currently on the prowl for a new team and could soon be back in the NRL playing field.

Having represented the Maroons six times, Wallace is currently with the Catalans Dragons in the Super League.

However, news from zerotackle.com reveals that the Dragons have decided not to extend his contract, leading to his departure at the end of the 2024 season.

The 33-year-old forward made the move overseas in the middle of the 2024 NRL season from The Dolphins and has since played in five matches for the French club.

His exit from the Dragons coincides with the arrival of Tevita Pangai Junior, Elliott Whitehead, Nick Cotric, and Luke Keary as the team needs to free up spots for new international players.

Wallace has had a solid career, with previous stints at the Brisbane Broncos (73 matches in five seasons) and the Gold Coast Titans (118 matches in six seasons).

His time with The Dolphins included 21 games over the past two seasons.

As Wallace searches for a new team, rugby league fans will be eager to see where this seasoned player lands next in the ever-evolving world of the NRL.
