Onitoni Large's departure from the Wests Tigers has been unveiled, with the young gun set to spread his wings and soar with the Manly Sea Eagles next season.

Regarded as a top talent in both rugby league and rugby union, Large was destined to play a pivotal role in the Wests Tigers' future.

However, he has opted to leave the club in search of greener pastures.

A standout in the Western Suburbs Magpies' journey to the Harold Matthews Cup Grand Final, Large unfortunately had to sit out the latter stages of the competition due to injury.

Nonetheless, he played a crucial role in guiding his team to the Grand Final alongside Alex Isdale.

Despite his recent debut in the Jersey Flegg Cup and absence from NRL or NSW Cup action, Large was seen training with the Wests Tigers' NRL squad in the final weeks of the 2024 NRL season.

As per The Sydney Morning Herald, the Wests Tigers made the decision to part ways with Large and grant him permission to join the Manly Sea Eagles due to disagreements over contract clauses demanded by his management.
