A star from the world of Rugby Sevens, who recently took to the field at the 2024 Paris Olympics, is now being wooed by an NRL club.
Reports from zerotackle.com have revealed that Moses Leo, who represented New Zealand in the Sevens tournament in Paris and helped secure a respectable fifth-place finish, is in talks with an NRL team.
Leo, a key player in the Sevens squad at the Olympics, the 2022 Commonwealth Games, and the 2022 Rugby World Cup Sevens, has caught the eye of NRL scouts.
Despite a string of injuries earlier in his career, he has bounced back with remarkable form, attracting the attention of the NRL club.
According to sources at The Daily Telegraph, the Melbourne Storm is leading the charge to secure Moses Leo, with club officials already sitting down with the talented athlete to discuss the possibility of making the switch from Sevens to the NRL.
Former Sevens teammate and Melbourne Storm winger, Will Warbrick, has praised Leo's skills, describing him as not only a top-notch Sevens player and athlete but also a top bloke.
Warbrick expressed confidence that whatever decision Leo makes, he will shine on the field.
