The North Queensland Cowboys are set to host their annual Old Boys Day this Saturday at Queensland Country Bank Stadium, with a record attendance of over 70 former players.
This gathering marks the largest turnout in the event's history and coincides with the club's 30th anniversary celebrations.
This year, the Cowboys' NRL team will face the Bulldogs, marking a nostalgic rematch of the Cowboys' inaugural game from Round 1 in 1995.
Attendees include several prominent figures such as Life Members Paul Bowman, Matthew Bowen, Jake Granville, and Gavin Cooper, along with Hall of Famer Matt Sing.
Premiership winners like Lachlan Coote, Michael Morgan, and Justin O'Neill will also be part of the event.
Other notable former players expected to attend are Cowboy No.1 Laurie Spina, inaugural Cowboys Paul Galea, Dean Schiffiliti, Wayne Sing, Willie Morganson, Andrew Whittington, Shane Christensen, and Leigh Groves.
Additionally, 2005 grand finalist Paul Rauhihi and the 2011 Paul Bowman Medalist Ash Graham will join in the festivities, promising an exciting reunion for Cowboys fans and former players alike.
