Olam's Roar: Is Tigers' Revamp Complete?

LeagueNews.co | Jason Patrick

In a significant development for the Melbourne Storm and the Wests Tigers, star centre Justin Olam appears to be on the verge of joining the Tigers, according to reports from zerotackle.com.

As the joint-venture team continues to rebuild under new coach Benji Marshall, Olam's imminent move signals their determination to revamp both on and off the field.

The Storm, who dropped Olam from their first grade set up during the 2023 campaign, have seemingly agreed to let him go despite having three seasons remaining on his contract.

Although the Papua New Guinean had the option to move to the Super League in England, he decided to stay in the NRL, confident that he can make a significant impact elsewhere.

Now, it appears that the Tigers have secured Olam's services for a three-year period, ending speculation about his future.

In a swap deal, promising forward Shawn Blore will head to the Storm as part of the agreement.
