Injury Update: Olakau'atu Shoulder Surgery
According to seaeagles.com.au, Haumole Olakau'atu, the second-row player for the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles, will miss the remainder of the season following a dislocated right shoulder sustained during the Round 21 match against the Bulldogs at Allianz Stadium.
This injury marks a setback for Olakau'atu, who had previously dislocated the same shoulder in Round 15 against the Titans.
He had recently returned to NRL action against the Bulldogs after a six-week rehabilitation period.
In the coming weeks, Olakau'atu is scheduled to undergo surgery and is expected to be ready for full contact training by January.
The Sea Eagles are set to face the Sydney Roosters on Saturday, August 2, as part of a triple-header at 4 Pines Park, where they will compete for the annual Gotcha4Life Cup in the Round 22 NRL fixture.
