The Tongan powerhouse notably enhanced his skills, showcasing formidable ball-running abilities that allowed him to break through defenses time and again.
Throughout the regular season, Olakau'atu accumulated an impressive 1644 post-contact metres, ranking third in the NRL.
His ability to evade defenders was highlighted by his fourth-place finish in tackle breaks with 128 for the year.
Averaging 171 running metres per game, he contributed significantly to the NSW Blues' success in State of Origin, participating in two matches.
Olakau'atu's accolades this season included the members' voted Gordon Willoughby Award, the Blue Collar Award, and the Players' Player Award, marking a career-best year since his debut.
On a different note, Lehi Hopoate claimed the Leading Try Scorer Award after crossing for nineteen tries, forming an effective partnership with centre Tolutau Koula.
New recruit Jamal Fogarty was recognized with the Club Community Award for his outstanding contributions off the field, while also securing the Leading Point Scorer title with 66 goals and four tries.
Fogarty capped off the night by winning the Doug Daley Club Person of the Year award.
Additionally, Simione Laiafi received the Ken Arthurson Rising Star award, highlighting the team's promising future.
