Experienced winger Corey Oates has officially committed to another season with the Brisbane Broncos, according to a report from broncos.com.au.

The 29-year-old will be donning the Broncos jersey for a 12th consecutive season after signing a one-year contract extension.

Oates, who boasts an impressive 201 NRL appearances and 118 tries for the club, is determined to make a strong comeback after a challenging 2023 season marred by injuries.

Despite the setbacks, Oates still managed to showcase his prowess on the field, averaging a whopping 184 metres per game, along with 35 tackle breaks, seven line breaks, and two try assists.

As he gears up for the 2024 season, Oates is focused on returning to his stellar form of 2022, where he notched a career-high 20 tries and averaged 169 metres per game across 22 appearances.
