The NSW Cup Panthers have punched their ticket to the finals after a nail-biting clash at BlueBet Stadium on Friday night.
The Rabbitohs came out of the gate strong, moving the ball swiftly to the left with Leonard Skelton finding Leon Te Hau, who set up Dion Teaupa for a speedy try down the sideline.
The conversion was good, putting the Rabbitohs up 0-6 early on.
But the Panthers didn't back down, with strong runs from Luron Patea and Mavrik Geyer gaining ground in Rabbitohs territory.
After a penalty, the Panthers had a full set in their opponent's half and capitalized on it, forcing an error and earning themselves five tackles near the try line.
Tyrone Peachey seized the moment, showcasing fancy footwork and a fend to score a try in the corner, narrowing the gap to 4-6 after an unsuccessful conversion.
Billy Scott attempted a 40-20 kick, but it ricocheted off Bayleigh Bentley-Hape's leg, with the Rabbitohs fullback instinctively using his knees to control the ball.
The Panthers held on for the win, securing their place in the finals with a gutsy performance on the field.
A true display of grit and determination in the world of Rugby League.
