Junior Nsemba is ready to make his mark on Wigan Warriors after inking a lucrative six-year deal with the Betfred Super League titleholders.

The 20-year-old second-rower had already committed to a four-year stint with the Warriors last October, but has now pledged his future to The Brick Community Stadium until at least the end of the 2030 season.

With footballing pedigree running in his blood - thanks to cousins Alex Song and uncle Rigobert Song - Nsemba is now eager to carve out his own legacy as a burgeoning star in the rough and tumble world of Rugby League.

"It was a no-brainer, mate," declared Nsemba, who was pleasantly surprised by the offer of a new contract.

"When my agent told me Rads wanted a chat, I knew something good was coming.

My folks are stoked, and I'm absolutely thrilled.

"I'm keen to keep on representing Wigan.

Been loving it here since I was knee-high to a grasshopper."

Catch Nsemba and the Warriors in action as they battle it out in the Super League play-offs, culminating in the Grand Final on October 12 - live and exclusive on Sky Sports.
