Brisbane's halfback, Ali Brigginshaw, anticipates that the NRLW grand final will resemble the intensity of a State of Origin match, especially as the Broncos aim to stop the Sydney Roosters' flawless season.
An impressive total of 17 players who participated in this year's State of Origin series are set to compete in Sunday's grand final.
The number could have been higher if not for injuries affecting Roosters players Tarryn Aiken and Tavarna Papalii.
Notably, Roosters coach John Strange also guided New South Wales to victory in this year's State of Origin series.
As the NRLW expands to 12 teams, the disparity between clubs has become apparent, which likely explains how these two talent-rich teams have made it to the grand final with relative ease.
The Broncos secured the second spot in the minor premiership, having only lost to the undefeated Roosters throughout the season.
Brigginshaw noted, "I think having so many representative players with big-game experience is something that both sides have." She added, "I wouldn't say that one side's more lopsided than the other. I think it's going to be a great match-up."
