In exciting news for the Cronulla Sharks, forward Jacinta Carter is set to join their ranks after bidding farewell to the Newcastle Knights NRLW team at the end of last season.

According to sources at The Daily Telegraph, Carter is poised to sign a two-year deal with the Sharks, strengthening their forward pack until the end of the 2026 NRLW season.

The addition of Carter will provide a much-needed boost to the Sharks' lineup, alongside players like Ellie Johnston and Caitlan Johnston, who may miss upcoming matches due to an impending arrival.

Carter, who also plays for the Wynnum Manly Seagulls in the BMD Premiership, brings with her three NRLW appearances and a hunger to succeed under the guidance of Sharks coach Tony Herman.

With the departure of key players like Hannah Southwell and Tamika Upton in recent times, the Knights face uncertainty about their future NRLW campaigns.

But for Carter, the move to Cronulla presents a fresh opportunity to make her mark on the field and contribute to the Sharks' quest for success.
