The NRLQ competition is currently underway, aiming to foster the talents of young players within the Broncos organization.
Launched by the Queensland Rugby League in collaboration with the NRL and four Queensland clubs, this Under 20 series seeks to enhance elite development pathways for emerging talents.
The initiative comes in response to the absence of development competitions in Queensland following the conclusion of the Mal Meninga Cup Under 19s and related representative games.
With two rounds already completed, the competition is poised for a two-week break before proceeding to its third round, offering players valuable experience and exposure.
Broncos Academy Manager Michael Kennedy emphasizes the significance of this program, stating, "it's an important step in the development in young players." Through such initiatives, the Broncos aim to cultivate and elevate the next generation of rugby league talent.
