NRL Gives Jennings Cold Shoulder in 300th Game Milestone
In a bold move, the NRL has decided to give Michael Jennings the silent treatment for his upcoming 300th match, citing past off-field incidents as the reason for the lack of recognition.
Jennings, who recently made a comeback after a lengthy hiatus, was called up as the Roosters' 18th man in his 299th first-grade game.
This puts him on the cusp of reaching the coveted milestone in his next appearance on the field.
Traditionally, the NRL celebrates players reaching the triple century mark with a grand presentation and the prestigious match ball.
However, sources indicate that Jennings will be left out of these festivities, with NRL honcho Andrew Abdo confirming the news to Fox Sports.
"In light of his previous behavior, Michael Jennings will not be getting the official NRL nod for his 300th game," Abdo revealed to Fox Sports.
It seems that Jennings will have to prove himself both on and off the field if he wants to earn the recognition he deserves in this momentous occasion.
