The NRL has announced that Indigenous-owned businesses will once again have the opportunity to team up with the 2025 All Stars game, set to take place at CommBank Stadium on Saturday, February 15 during the NRL pre-season.

This exciting concept was initially introduced before the 2024 games by NRL players involved in the match.

The initiative shines a spotlight on 17 Indigenous-owned businesses as part of the celebration and game.

During the event, these businesses will be showcased, with the NRL players who first proposed the idea believing it to be a prime opportunity to leverage the popularity and reach of the All Stars game to showcase Indigenous excellence in the business world.

Katrina Fanning, AO, PSM, expressed last year prior to the concept's debut that the goal was to highlight Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander excellence in various aspects of Australia.

"The All Stars game and the cultural festivities throughout the week provide an unparalleled platform for all Australians to commemorate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander excellence," Fanning remarked ahead of the 2024 launch.

The nominations for Indigenous businesses are now open, giving a nod to the deep-rooted history and cultural significance that Rugby League holds in Australia.
