Round 12 of the NRL is upon us, and with it comes significant changes influenced by the State of Origin.

The Bulldogs are excited to see a star return, while the Rabbitohs will find themselves without several key players. Additionally, the Dragons have surprised fans with a selection to fill a gap left by an injured athlete.

With Ethan Strange unavailable due to Origin commitments, Daine Laurie will step into the halves alongside Ethan Sanders. On a positive note, both Xavier Savage (ankle) and Zac Hosking (concussion) have recovered from their injuries and are set to return this week. The new back-row duo consists of Hosking and Ata Mariota, as Hudson Young (Origin) and Simi Sasagi (injury) are unable to play. Making his debut, under-19s NSW Blues representative Jordan Uta has also been included on the interchange bench.
