NRL Sends Rabbitohs Player to the Sin Bin for 'Dog Act'

The NRL has left fans scratching their heads with the announcement of a two-week ban for South Sydney winger Taane Milne after his controversial cannonball tackle on Cameron Munster.

Milne's decision to lead with his head and dive into Munster's legs in the dying moments of the Rabbitohs' loss to the Storm in Melbourne has been widely condemned as a "dog act" and labelled as "dumb" by coach Jason Demetriou.

In a horrid brain snap with just nine seconds remaining on the clock and Souths trailing 54-20, Milne's actions led to an immediate sin bin from the referees.

Munster, already held up in a group tackle by three other Rabbitohs players, was left fuming as Storm player Joe Chan intervened, grabbing Milne by the scruff of the neck.

This ban serves as a reminder to players about the importance of sportsmanship and fair play in the game of Rugby League.
