Two Rugby League legends have launched a scathing attack on South Sydney and Latrell Mitchell over the mishandling of his infamous F-bomb tirade on live radio.

The ongoing drama, which seems to be as persistent as a tough scrum, saw Mitchell's foul-mouthed post-game interview last week causing waves.

The Rabbitohs and the Nine Network raised concerns with the NRL about the offending footage that aired live.

As a result, the NRL put a stop to Triple M's post-match interviews, but surprisingly, Mitchell escaped punishment for his outburst.

Given his extensive experience in the game and numerous media appearances, many were left scratching their heads at the lack of consequences.

Former Australia and NSW representative, Wade Graham, with nearly 300 NRL games under his belt, criticized Mitchell and the Rabbitohs' response to the situation.

"The decision to raise a fuss and point fingers...when things aren't going your way, you've got to take a long hard look at yourself first," Graham remarked on Triple M NRL.

It seems like this incident has stirred up some drama akin to a heated on-field rivalry.

Only time will tell how South Sydney will bounce back from this controversy and whether Mitchell will show some remorse for his words.
