NRL Issues Notices to Banned Player Agents

The NRL has issued show cause notices to two banned player agents, Nash Dawson and Chris Orr, following an incident involving a brawl outside a hotel in Port Macquarie last year.

According to reports by zerotackle.com, both agents have received significant suspensions as a result of their actions.

In an official statement, the NRL outlined a proposed nine-month suspension and a $15,000 fine for Dawson, while Orr faces a six-month suspension and a $10,000 fine.

The brawl allegedly took place during the Australian Secondary Schools Rugby League Championships, which led to breaches of the NRL Accredited Agent Scheme Rules and the Accredited Agents' Code of Conduct.

Additionally, both agents reportedly failed to cooperate with the NRL's integrity unit, exacerbating their situation.

They now have five days to respond to the show cause notices issued by the NRL.
