Tom Trbojevic, also known as the "Turbo" on the field, has had his bold move to take a $750,000 pay cut denied by the NRL due to concerns about salary cap constraints.

The Manly Sea Eagles and their star fullback were at odds over the request, with Trbojevic showing his team spirit by offering to sacrifice a portion of his $1.1 million yearly earnings.

According to reports from the sports media, the injury-prone Trbojevic wanted to give back a chunk of his salary in recognition of the limited number of games he has been able to play in recent seasons.

The Dally M winner of 2021 has been plagued by hamstring injuries, hindering his ability to stay on the field and showcase his talent.

Despite facing setbacks, Trbojevic is determined to overcome his challenges and bounce back stronger.

The NRL's decision to decline Turbo's pay cut request emphasizes the importance of maintaining financial balance within the league.

As the rugby league season progresses, fans will be eagerly watching to see how Trbojevic performs on the field and whether he can lead the Sea Eagles to victory with his electrifying speed and skill.
