NRL Club Set to Offer Shock Lifeline to Jackson Hastings

Discarded Newcastle Knights halfback Jackson Hastings has faced a challenging journey in the NRL in recent years.

After being released by both the Wests Tigers and Knights, Hastings has had difficulty securing a stable position within the league.

His current team has chosen not to extend his contract beyond this season, leading many to believe that the 29-year-old's time in first-grade football was nearing its end.

However, it appears that Hastings may be presented with a final opportunity to secure a starting role in the NRL, as another club is reportedly willing to give him a chance.

According to Wide World of Sports, the Gold Coast Titans are showing interest in acquiring Hastings for the 2026 season.

New Titans coach Josh Hannay is said to be interested in Hastings' experience and skills, believing he can maximize the potential of the struggling halfback.

"Josh sees Jackson's experience and ability to get the team around the park as an asset," a source close to the situation shared with Wide World of Sports.
