NRL 2025: Clubs Hit the Ground Running for Pre-Season Training

As the new NRL season approaches, teams are gearing up for pre-season training with some hitting the ground running while others are slowly easing into it.

The Wests Tigers, determined to shake off their wooden spoon curse, are eagerly awaiting the arrival of their new halves combination on the training paddock.

Under the guidance of second-year coach Benji Marshall, the Tigers are looking to turn their fortunes around with the help of rising star Lachlan Galvin.

The 19-year-old sensation, fresh off a stellar rookie season in 2024, is set to team up with Jarome Luai, the experienced premiership winner from Penrith.

However, fans will have to wait until December 21 to see this dynamic duo in action as Luai wraps up his commitments from the previous season.

Despite a busy schedule that included a grand final appearance and leadership duties for Samoa, Luai is eager to hit the ground running with his new team.

Meanwhile, the league sees the debut of four new coaches, including Michael Maguire, Jason Ryles, Wayne Bennett, and Kristian Woolf, each bringing their own unique style and strategy to their respective teams.

With a mix of rookies, fresh signings, and returning players from injury, the stage is set for an electrifying 2025 season.

So, as the clubs fire up for pre-season training, fans can expect a season filled with excitement, challenges, and plenty of surprises.

The countdown to kick-off is on, and every team is ready to leave it all on the field as they strive for glory in the world of Rugby League.
