Before then, the Prime Minister's XIII event will take place in Port Moresby this Saturday.
North Queensland Toyota Cowboys NRL and NRLW players have been selected for both events.
Jaxon Purdue, Braidon Burns and Tom Chester are named in the men's Australian Prime Minister's XIII, while Bree Chester is selected for the women's team.
Reuben Cotter and Tom Dearden will represent Australia in the men's World Cup.
In the women's competition, Makenzie Weale will play for Australia, Fran Goldthorp for England and Sian Williams for Wales.
