It seems that David Nofoaluma's time with the Wests Tigers has hit a rough patch, and according to former NRL player Justin Horo, it all started during his short stint with the Melbourne Storm in 2022.

Horo believes that it's time for both Nofoaluma and the Tigers to go their separate ways.

Nofoaluma, who holds the record for the most tries scored in the club's history, has two years remaining on his contract.

However, his future with the Tigers is uncertain.

Troubles seem to have escalated recently as Nofoaluma was reportedly sanctioned by the club for being late to a training session.

Earlier, he had taken some time off after complaining to the RLPA about being treated unfairly.

The Tigers are reportedly disappointed with Nofoaluma's efforts in training, and chairman Lee Hagipantelis acknowledged that the winger hasn't been fully committed this pre-season.

"He's at a crossroads right now," Hagipantelis stated during an interview.

"He's clearly lost and struggling.

He possesses immense talent, but he needs to refocus and find his way again."
Horo's comments suggest that there may be some lingering issues from Nofoaluma's time with the Storm, which have impacted his performance and relationship with the Tigers.

It appears that a fresh start could be what's best for both parties involved.
