Nikorima flies the coop to restart his journey

After being given the boot by the Catalan Dragons, Jayden Nikorima has quickly found a new home to kickstart his rugby league career.

Last seen tearing it up in the NRL in 2023, Nikorima and his mate Siosiua Taukeiaho were shown the door by the Dragons after they decided a concert in the UK was more important than hitting the training field.

But fear not, rugby league fans, Nikorima won't be sitting on the sidelines for long.

He's dusted himself off and will be suiting up for the Salford Red Devils in the Super League quicker than you can say "fullback bomb".

As the big bro to Dolphins star Kodi Nikorima, Jayden has had his fair share of action in the NRL with stints at the Sydney Roosters and Melbourne Storm, racking up nine appearances along the way.

He's also donned the green and gold jersey as part of the Junior Kangaroos and represented the New Zealand Maori All Stars.

With a new club and a fresh start, Nikorima is ready to tackle whatever comes his way in the Super League.

Watch out, opponents, this Kiwi-born dynamo is ready to show what he's made of on the field.
