Briton Nikora's meteoric rise has been a game-changer for the Sharks' success this season.

With just two regular rounds left, the Cronulla Sharks find themselves on 22 competition points, with a shot at the coveted Top Four spot firmly in their grasp.

According to zero tackle, the Sharks' 15 wins so far have defied the odds and exceeded the expectations of many, myself included, at the start of the season.

The Shire-based club came out of the gates firing on all cylinders, notching up nine wins in their first ten games, including an impressive seven-game win streak.

However, just when things were looking rosy, disaster struck.

Around the Origin period, the Sharks' season took a nosedive, sending them tumbling from the top of the NRL ladder into a precarious position.

But thanks to Nikora's outstanding performance and the team's resilience, they are back in the running for a spot in the Top Four.

With destiny in their own hands, the Sharks are gearing up for a thrilling finish to the season that could see them make a strong push for the finals.
