Niall Williams-Guthrie's NRLW fate: Titans' clash brings charges

Judiciary update: Niall Williams-Guthrie

Gold Coast NRLW star Niall Williams-Guthrie has been charged by the match review committee after the Titans' Round 5 clash against the Roosters on Saturday.

Williams-Guthrie was placed on report in the 15th minute for accidental contact made on Brydie Parker.

She has been hit with a grade 1 careless high tackle charge, which is her first offence.

However, there is some positive news for the Titan as an early guilty plea will only result in a warning.

If she chooses to contest the charge and is found guilty at the hearing, she will miss one match, specifically Round 6 against the Dragons.

In a separate incident, David Fifita was also placed on report during the NRL game but was not charged.

At this time, no plea has been submitted for Williams-Guthrie's case.
