The Newcastle Knights and Sydney Roosters will meet in the men's NRL Grand Final at 7:30pm AEDT on Sunday, after the 2026 decider sold out.
The NRL said all tickets were claimed when club-member sales began at 10am on Monday, leaving none for the planned general sale on Tuesday.
Accor Stadium, which holds more than 80,000 people, is expected to be full.
Knights supporters had filled the venue the previous day, with 57,000 attending the team's preliminary final victory over Penrith Panthers, the fourth-largest crowd for an NRL preliminary final.
The NRL said the official resale platform is now the only way to obtain tickets, though supporters from Penrith or the Warriors may resell theirs.
Members complained on social media about problems using Ticketmaster during Monday's sales.
"Any word on how exactly members were meant to buy the tickets?" one Knights Facebook page member asked.
"the experience was the exact same and were on just after 10:00am. A total clown show," another replied.
On the NRL's Facebook page, one person asked, "So what happened to members pre sale? Did it actually happen at 10am?"
The NRLW final, between Brisbane Broncos and Sydney Roosters, starts at 4:05pm AEDT; Penrith Panthers and Redcliffe Dolphins play the State Championship at 1:20pm.
