New Zealand will begin its Rugby League World Cup campaign against Australia on Thursday 15 October, then play the Cook Islands on Sunday 25 October and Fiji Bati on Saturday 31 October.
Stacey Jones has named Melbourne Storm vice-captain Jahrome Hughes in his 23-player Kiwis squad for the tournament.
The 186-game Storm halfback has played for New Zealand 10 times since his international debut against Tonga in 2019.
Hughes, the 2024 Dally M Medallist, also appeared in three matches at the 2022 World Cup.
His tournament included a Man of the Match display against Ireland, where he scored two tries and supplied three try-assists.
Incoming Melbourne recruit Jamayne Isaako has also been selected for New Zealand, ahead of his move to the Storm in 2027.
