Canterbury Bulldogs' standout five-eighth, Matt Burton, has reportedly piqued the interest of yet another team as uncertainty looms over his future at Belmore.
Though he remains contracted with the Bulldogs for another two years, until the end of 2027, several rumors have surfaced in the last month suggesting he could leave the club sooner than anticipated.
At just 25, the two-time NSW Blues representative and five-time international player has emerged as one of the Bulldogs' key figures since joining in 2022, playing a significant role in transforming the team's fortunes from last place to legitimate premiership contenders.
Despite his positive impact, speculation continues regarding his potential departure from the Blue and Whites.
Previously linked to the North Queensland Cowboys and Perth Bears, The Daily Telegraph has now indicated that the Gold Coast Titans are the latest team expressing interest in Burton as they prepare for a new era under coach Josh Hannay.
This attention from the Titans comes as they search for a new playmaker following the retirement of Kieran Foran, as they aim to improve from their second-last finish in the 2025 NRL season.
