Summary: Star Players Linked to Rugby 360
Zac Lomax from the New South Wales Blues and English centre Herbie Farnworth are the latest players reportedly targeted by the Rugby 360 competition.
According to zerotackle.com, this new league, financially backed by Saudi Arabian investments, is anticipated to offer player salaries as high as $2 million annually, aiming to significantly impact the Australian rugby league landscape.
The Rugby 360 management has already reached out to the representatives of notable players such as Ryan Papenhuyzen and Roger Tuivasa-Sheck.
Tuivasa-Sheck has expressed interest in potentially returning to union rugby to conclude his career.
Additionally, Nelson Asofa-Solomona, Tuivasa-Sheck's teammate, is also rumored to be a candidate for the competition.
Other players, including St George Illawarra Dragons' Jaydn Su'A and NRLW star Jessica Sergis, are also on the league's radar.
Although many players would need to be released from their current contracts to join Rugby 360, a report from News Corp indicates that Lomax and Farnworth-who recently sustained a hamstring injury in a match against the New Zealand Warriors-are among the next in line for interest from the league.
However, it is currently understood that no formal offers have been made to either player yet.
