New recruits sharpen claws at NRL Rookie Camp

Good tips for young Tigers at NRL Rookie Camp

LeagueNews.co | Robbie Hamilton

Last weekend, a quartet of up-and-coming Wests Tigers stars took on the NRL Rookie Camp.

This annual gathering is like a crash course in NRL life, teaching the new recruits about social responsibility.

They cover everything from handling the media, to building respectful relationships, and even focusing on mental health and well-being.

Representing the Wests Tigers this year were young guns Solomona Faataape, Luke Laulilii, Heath Mason, and Will Craig.

Laulilii, just 18 years old, couldn't stop raving about the invaluable lessons learned at the camp.

It's like they've been handed the playbook for success in the big leagues.
