Experienced mentor takes charge of Knights rebuild

The nib Newcastle Knights Board has officially decided to appoint Justin Holbrook as Head Coach for the upcoming three seasons, following a recommendation from a five-delegate subcommittee.

Holbrook, a former player for the Newcastle Knights (with 127 matches under his belt), returns to the Club with over two decades of coaching experience, including serving as Head Coach for a total of 169 matches in both the NRL and Super League.

After a comprehensive selection process, Holbrook was unanimously recognized as the most suitable candidate to guide the Club into its next chapter.

We extend the congratulations to Justin on his new role and look forward to his taking up the position of Knights Head Coach once he concludes his existing commitments.
