Gold Coast Titans captain Tino Fa'asuamaleaui has become a hot target for several rugby league clubs, including the Melbourne Storm, Perth Bears, and St George Illawarra Dragons. Now, another contender has emerged in the race for his signature.
Despite being under contract with the Titans until the end of the 2033 NRL season, certain clauses in Fa'asuamaleaui's agreement may allow him to exit as soon as the conclusion of the 2026 season. Recently, he acknowledged that he is open to exploring options with other teams.
At just 25 years old, Fa'asuamaleaui is in the peak of his career, making him a prime candidate for a potential club change in the next year. He is expected to seek a lucrative deal worth up to $1.5 million annually, which reflects his status as an elite player who can excel in both the front-row and lock positions.

Storm Chairman Justin Rodski mentioned on SEN 1170 Radio, "He'd come with a hefty price... but we'd love to have him at the club again... he'd be a wonderful asset at any club. We will explore it and see where it lands."
As rival teams take note, there are increasing concerns that the Sydney Roosters might also be preparing to chase Fa'asuamaleaui, leaving his future uncertain, according to The Sydney Morning Herald.
