Nathan Cleary, the Panthers' main man, has had a rough few months on the sidelines, but his return is imminent and his teammates are buzzing.

Cleary, who has been plagued by a troublesome hamstring injury, is set to make a comeback in this week's clash against the Dolphins after missing out on the State of Origin series.

The Panthers have managed to soldier on without their star halfback, but Cleary's return is sure to give them a much-needed boost.

With only five appearances under his belt this season, Cleary is itching to get back on the field and make an impact.

"I'm definitely hoping he plays this week," said Panthers hooker Mitch Kenny.

"He's a hard worker and a true footballer at heart.

He'll be chomping at the bit to get back out there after missing a big chunk of the season."

The Panthers are eager to have Cleary back in the lineup as they gear up for the final stretch of the season.

With key players potentially needing a rest, Cleary's return couldn't come at a better time for the defending premiers.
