Murphy's Law: Will Titans avoid a grand final repeat?

Murphy set for 'unique' NRLW medal scenario on grand final day

Titans coach Karyn Murphy is facing a unique scenario in the NRLW grand final against the Knights on Sunday.

Murphy, who has a medal named in her honor for the player of the grand final, may have to present the award to an opposing player after the game.

If the Titans win, it will be easy for Murphy to present the medal to one of her own players.

However, if a Knights player is awarded the medal, the NRL is still discussing how Murphy would present it on stage.

This rare possibility has been on Murphy's mind as she prepares for the historic game.

She is not only leading the Titans to their first-ever grand final in either the men's or women's competitions but also becoming the first female coach to do so.
