"That's spasming": Cameron Munster convulses in pain in 'really concerning' scene

Cameron Munster, the Storm's star five-eighth, has unfortunately reaggravated a nagging groin injury in a game that left fans on edge.

The scene of him writhing in pain on the field has raised doubts about his availability for the upcoming State of Origin series.

Munster, who has been battling through the early part of the season with the lingering injury, twisted his groin in a defensive move during the Storm's match against Parramatta at Magic Round.

However, it was his tackle on Bryce Cartwright that sent him convulsing in agony on the Suncorp Stadium turf.

"He's just about gone, Cam Munster," exclaimed Fox League commentator Dan Ginnane.

"Oh geez, that's spasming."

This setback could see Munster sidelined for a period of time, throwing a spanner in the works for both the Storm and potentially the State of Origin squad.

The road to recovery will be a tough one, but Munster is determined to bounce back stronger than ever.
