Cameron Munster has been named captain of the Queensland Maroons for Game II, as confirmed by head coach Billy Slater after a training session at Twin Waters.
Munster takes over the captaincy from Daly Cherry-Evans, who led the Maroons to victory in the Origin series in 2020 and 2022-23.
This upcoming match in Perth holds special significance for Munster, as it marks his 20th appearance in Origin.
