Munster's Classic Lomax Deflection Explained

‘Thanks for asking’: Munster’s classic Lomax deflection

Melbourne Storm star Cameron Munster stated that the team's potential success in 2026 does not hinge on whether they can sign Zac Lomax for the upcoming NRL season opener.

Lomax's previous club, Parramatta, has initiated legal proceedings in the NSW Supreme Court to prevent the standout centre from joining the Storm after he was released last year to participate in the postponed Rugby 360 competition.

The situation is particularly delicate as the Storm and Eels are set to meet at AAMI Park in round one.

Munster, known for his willingness to engage with the media, cleverly redirected inquiries about Lomax's signing into a promotional opportunity for a pub he recently launched in Brisbane.
