9 joins squad for Warriors clash

New Zealand-born hooker Sean Mullany has been promoted to the starting lineup for the Titans' match against the Warriors in Auckland, filling in for Sam Verrills, who is absent due to the upcoming birth of his first child.

Mullany, 25, who made his NRL debut earlier this season, will be playing in his home country for the first time, having grown up playing junior football in Auckland.

The rest of the team remains unchanged, with Tom Weaver, Ryan Foran, and Alofiana Khan-Pereira being released from the extended squad to return to Queensland for Hostplus Cup action.

This match will also mark Kieran Foran's 50th appearance for the Titans, as he steps in as captain for Tino Fa'asuamaleaui.

Additionally, coach Des Hasler will celebrate his 500th game as an NRL coach.

The match is set to kick off at 3 PM (AEST) on Saturday at Go Media Stadium, Auckland.
