In a move that has Sharks fans cheering from the stands, the Cronulla Sharks have officially locked in winger Ronaldo Mulitalo with a three-year extension.
This deal will see the New Zealand international don the blue, black, and white jersey until at least the end of the 2028 NRL season, cementing his legacy in the Shire.
Mulitalo, a cult hero among the Sharkies faithful, had the option to explore greener pastures with other clubs since early November.
However, he ultimately decided to pledge his allegiance to the Sharks, expressing his gratitude for the opportunity to continue representing the club he holds dear to his heart.
"I'm absolutely stoked and grateful for this new deal," Mulitalo exclaimed in a statement released by the Sharks.
"It means the world to me and my family.
My goal is to finish my career right here in the blue and white, and be a Sharkie forever."
With Mulitalo locked in for the foreseeable future, the Sharks can now focus on building a formidable team that will strike fear into the hearts of their opponents on the field.
Here's to many more memorable moments and historic victories with Mulitalo leading the charge for the Cronulla Sharks.
