Cowboys duo charged by MRC

The boys at cowboys.com.au have shared some news that might put a dent in the Cowboys' lineup.

Murray has copped a Grade 3 Contrary Conduct charge for jumping into the scuffle from the interchange bench, while Olakau'atu is in the same boat with a two-game ban hanging over his head.

If they decide to take on the charge and are found guilty at the judiciary, their ban could stretch to a painful three games.

Other players caught up in the chaos were To'o (Grade 2), Haas (Grade 1), and Burton (Grade 1) from the Blues camp.

On the Maroons side, Nanai (Grade 2), Cotter (Grade 2), Tabuai-Fidow (Grade 2), and Kaufusi (Grade 1) are all facing fines for their role in the Contrary Conduct mess.

The wild skirmish went down in the 31st minute of the decider, with players from both teams trading blows and pushing and shoving over on the sidelines at Suncorp Stadium.

It was a heated moment reminiscent of Rugby League battles of old, with tempers flaring and emotions running high.

Now, the players involved will have some time in the sin bin to think about their actions.
