The NRL's match review committee has dropped six charges following Friday's double-header in Round 6, leading to suspensions for players from the Gold Coast Titans, Sydney Roosters, and Brisbane Broncos.

Titans forward Brock Gray was the only player charged in the early game against the St George Illawarra Dragons, receiving two charges.

Gray's first charge was for a first-half crusher tackle on Dragons winger Christian Tuipulotu, resulting in a fine of $1500 for an early guilty plea or $2000 if he chooses to fight and loses at the judiciary.

The second charge was for a high tackle in the second half, leading to a Grade 2 charge and a potential one-week suspension with an early guilty plea or two weeks if he chooses to challenge the charge at the judiciary.

The tackle on Jack de Belin also saw Gray sin-binned during the game.

The report from zerotackle.com states that "Titans fringe forward Brock Gray was the only player charged out of the early game as the St George Illawarra Dragons ran up a sizeable win, however, he was charged twice." The article highlights the impact of Gray's actions on the field, resulting in significant consequences for both himself and the Titans.

Overall, the MRC's decision to drop six charges and issue suspensions serves as a reminder of the importance of player conduct and safety in the NRL.

The penalties handed down to Gray and other players demonstrate the league's commitment to enforcing rules and maintaining a fair and competitive playing environment.

As the affected teams adjust to the absence of suspended players, they will need to reassess their strategies and line-ups for upcoming matches.

The repercussions of Friday's incidents will undoubtedly have a ripple effect on team dynamics and performance in the weeks to come.
