Matt Moylan, a seasoned NRL player, has requested and been granted an immediate release from his Sharks contract to pursue a multi-year opportunity in the UK SuperLeague.

Moylan, who has been with the Cronulla club since 2018, has played a total of 102 NRL games for the Sharks, with 20 appearances in the 2023 season alone.

Prior to his time at the Sharks, the 32-year-old also played 89 top grade games for the Panthers and has represented both NSW and Australia in his illustrious career.

The Sharks have expressed their gratitude for Moylan's contributions over the past six years and have extended their best wishes for his future success in the UK and beyond.

This move marks the end of an era for Moylan in the NRL and opens up a new chapter in his rugby league journey.
