The Parramatta Eels are in talks with Mitchell Moses to scrub out any pesky contract clauses that could see him scooting out the door before his time.
Moses, the shining star of the team and top dog player, has been caught up in all sorts of footy gossip lately, especially after coach Brad Arthur got the boot and a couple of his old mates flew the coop.
After capping off his season with a call-up to the Australian Kangaroos squad, Moses was definitely giving some serious thought to his future, with even a wacky rumor swirling around about him bolting to the Sydney Roosters at one stage.
But Eels boss Jim Sarantinos shut all that noise down quick smart, making it clear that Moses ain't going anywhere.
Now, according to The Daily Telegraph, the Eels and Moses are teaming up to wipe out the fine print in his contract that could potentially see him heading for the exit in 2026.
Looks like the Eels are keen to lock Moses in for the long haul and keep him anchored in the blue and gold for the rest of his days.
